How Long Do Dental Implants Last?

How Long Does Dental Implant Placement Take?
In suitable cases, dental implants can be placed on the same day after a specialist evaluation and confirmation of healthy jawbone conditions through a 3D X-Ray scan. Because Tanam uses the Digital Implant Method, implant placement is faster and minimally invasive* compared to conventional implant procedures.
The complete treatment process, including the final crown placement, generally takes approximately 3–4 months, depending on bone integration and individual healing.
Does Dental Implant Treatment Requires Surgery?
Jawbone evaluation is performed using 3D X-Ray technology, allowing for a minimally invasive approach with minimal gum incision.
The implant placement procedure is performed under local anesthesia, ensuring patients remain comfortable and experience little to no pain during treatment.
Are There Any Restrictions After Dental Implants?
1. Avoid biting your lips, cheeks, or tongue while the anesthesia is still in effect.
2. Avoid hard, spicy, and hot foods or beverages after the procedure.
3. Avoid alcohol and smoking for at least 2 weeks after implant placement.
4. Avoid using objects that may injure the mouth, such as straws or toothpicks.
5. Avoid strenuous physical activities, including heavy exercise, weightlifting, running, or long-distance cycling.
6. Do not touch the implant area with your fingers or tongue.
7. Avoid vigorous rinsing and excessive movement of the cheeks or lips around the implant area.
How Much Dental Implant Costs?
The cost of dental implants varies depending on the patient's condition and the number of implants required. Typically, dental implant treatment ranges from Rp15–28 million per tooth.
